Ursula

Ursula first discovered her love of flowers and plants when studying the Royal Horticultural Society’s Diploma in Horticulture 10 years ago. Having worked in London for nearly 20 years, followed by 2 years in New York, Ursula decided to move out to the Cotswolds with her family to embrace the countryside and outdoor lifestyle. This included a change in career that has allowed Ursula to pursue her passion for flowers after qualifying with the City & Guilds Diploma in Floristry and acquiring Amaranthus, an established floristry business that has been operating in Wiltshire and the surrounding area for more than 10 years.

Anita

As a small child Anita loved to help in the garden and go for walks with her Grandfather, seeding her love of nature. Her passion for plants grew over the years and after studying floristry at Lackham College, Lacock she successfully qualified and progressed onto work in a florist's shop in Bath which was the start of a long, successful career. Several years later Anita joined a team of in-house florists for a range of well known exclusive hotels, and eventually started her own business; Amaranthus, running a succesful shop for 10 years. Anita branched out and began to specialise in wedding flowers. Her experience and success has been widely acknowledged with some of her designs being published in Wedding Ideas, Dream Weddings and Confetti. Anita's love and committment to her work, along with her busy imagination result in her arrangements and designs being very unique.
